I just wanted to share this story. This kid is basically my nephew, not by blood but my sister in law and brother in law took him in and let him stay at their house through high school and he has been considered a part of the family ever since.

That is awesome. What a terrific story; and what a great attitude. He's the sort of young person that gives you hope for the future.

Another straight up, genuine, Grade "A" American Hero. I'm simply in awe of Ryan and all of the others just like him who silently serve our country every day.

Thanks, Ryan, for helping to provide the freedoms that I enjoy.

I will forward him this thread so he can read all of your responses. I am amazed on how fast he is progressing with his recovery, unfortunately I think it is partially due to there being a lot of guys with this type of injury so they are very good at treatment.

You could be right. But every dark cloud has a silver lining.

Another update on Ryan, he is at the US Open once again this year. He will be moving back to Colorado soon, going to be stationed at Fort Carson.

This is video of him messing around with the hosts of Fox and Friends showing them how to work the court.

There couldn't have been a better time for this update on Ryan's fantastic story. I appreciate everything this young man has done. Even now, with all the turmoil of the virus, social unrest, election issues, etc, he offers me hope and he doesn't even know it. Thanks for the update. I sincerely with Ryan the best in everything he does.
