Fella's,

I've been waffling on where to land re: a rail and "think" I've decided on the DD Omega 7.0, a "rail for dummies" sounds good to me.

Q1: Will install on a bone-stock 6920, hearing any issues there?

Q2: I'm struggling with a "drop-in" rail [the Omega] versus what I think may be a better product, the DD M4 but...thoughts? Are these Omega's cutting it in the real world or am I making a mistake going this route?

Thanks.

Though "drop in" the omega will work, and provide a true free flaot securely on your colt.
the only down side to DD's product as i see it is that it costs a pretty penny. but well worth it.

I preffer the Omega, Light, and omega X style rails because the continuous top rail makes indexing easy.

Somewhere underneath all that magpul crap lays an omega 7 lol.
Picked this one up from Bower's and took me a whole 3 minutes to install.

I've got both the Lite Rail and the Omega. I can feel no difference between the two. The Omega is just as solid as the permanently installed Lite Rail. You'll be happy with it.
