As some of you guys know, I'm waiting patiently for my new Remington 700 XCR 300 Ultra Mag. It is at Bass Pro getting a bunch of smith work done. My search began a few days ago for ammo. The last 300 ultra mag I had shot the Remington Scirocco Premier 180gr Power level III, very well. So it was an easy decision to go with the same ammo. I started making calls. I finally found some at Gander Mountain. They wanted $80 dollars a box. Not $79.99, $80 fucking dollars plus tax. I found the same ammo at Cabelas for $58 dollars a box shipped. That $58 dollars included shipping, taxes and some kind of hazardous shipping charge. I ordered 4 boxes and my TOTAL was $232 bucks. I'm writing this hoping that someone that works at Gander Mountain will point this out to someone in upper management and to let you guys know not to get ripped off at Gander Fucking Mountain.
GANDER MOUNTAIN CAN KISS MY FUCKING ASS!
Yep Gander really never has good prices on their ammo. I like to look in that store if I'm near one but rarely buy anything from them!!

I usually buy my 300 RUM ammo on line, like Midway.

I was at Gander a while back and just kind of cruised thru.
For all that damn floorspace they didn't have that much stuff to look at.
Disappointing
I bought two pieces of glass form them not too far back,
both times the cost at the register was much lower than the sticker, I'm talking 25% and 40%
It took the sting right out.
otherwise that store has been worthless.

Even their used firearms are high as hell.
Ya know why they call it Gander Mountain, dontcha?
You take a gander at what you want, then go buy it somewhere else for cheap!

Gander Mtn is a total rip-off when it comes to ammunition. Maybe they price their outerware normally, but I don't go in there regardless. There are plenty of internet sources for high quality ammo at low prices.
I got 2 bricks of 1k CCI BR4s for $3.47 each. I said thanks a bunch and went on home.
