Ok, granted, its late, i don't sleep much, i am naturally grumpy....
... But what the hell is up with all the adult shooters on this forum crying like school girls with skint knees over the trade forums?
Doesn't it bother anyone else that we have pressed the mods into being baby sitters because we have a bunch of ebay commandos on here who get ass hurt if they miss the deal of the century?
This is a rifle user group, for fucks sake. Grow the hell up.
Its not wonder the anti gunners have such an easy time picking us apart, if we cant even maintain an online community because of ridiculous materialism.
Does anyone here seriously believe ther wont be another deal on a 6920 if they miss the current one? or that glocks will disappear? or kimbers?
I checked and double checked, and no one was offering a singer 1911 and a pile of holland and holland side by side rifles for a dollar each, so i'm pretty sure there is no cause for panic.
I submit to you that if you have enough time to badger sellers, and the mods, because you didn't get the cool toys before the other kids on the block, then you are spending entirely too little time shooting.
I suggest the mods re-post any whiney pm's to a 'bitch board' from her eon out, and let the rest of us answer them. lets learn to police ourselves.

I have a Glock 19 I was going to put up for sale soon... but maybe I will wait until they are all totally gone and then post it. That is a great idea!

I agree completely Sir, I think I might actually be the cause of your late night rant. I just pulled the post of a few of my guns I had hoped to trade because I was getting too many whiny messages. Now Im looking to just buy what I was hoping to trade for. I support the bitch board where they can trade tampons and clit sand.

Well, your thread, but also the 'monitoring' of the sale forum that was inspired by you not being the first one to suffer this bull shit.
I don't think you could have been more clear in your thread about your intentions. I read with interest, and was saddened and DIDNT pm, because i didn't have things to trade for what i wanted. Shit happens.
But CLEARLY, its your fault for not just wanting to liquidate your guns, and fill your safe with kittens and rainbows and flowers, because the rest of the users woudl rather pay cash.

There is MUCH more complaining in the for sale threads now, than before the stricter rules. Now everyone knows exactly what the rules are, and races to point out who is breaking them.
The shitty sellers before, had zero to little feed back and were generally ignored. I'm worried that Ginsue is going to work himself to death and just leave the board. He already doesn't post anymore except to try and herd the cats. I was going to warn him, but it is like giving a young person relationship advice. They won't listen until it is too late.
That is nothing personal, or negative against you Ginsue, but being as this is your first time modding, you'll just have to see for yourself.

Ahahaha yeah no rainbows in my safe but shit if they made a gun that shot kittens I dont think I would mind emptying a few magazines of calico into a crowd. Wish I could say it was sad that I put all those weapons back in my safe but the more I think about it Im pretty fucking happy I still have all my guns minus two I think Im just gonna replace now. I contacted someone about a M&P, but was behind someone else... the gentlemen selling it was kind enough to tell me when he was meeting, and that he'd contact me after that if it was still available.
Later I saw it was sold in the thread... oh well, win some, lose some...
I've had someone say the were going to sell me something, then decide to sell it to their buddy... whatever... sparked a thread where some people were telling me I should be pissed, but I wasn't... it was his to sell to whomever he was comfortable, and he didn't know me.
Maybe it's because I'm in this as a hobby, and don't try to buy things to re-sell. (I think I've sold 2 or 3 guns my whole life)
I appreciate the work Ginsue does, a board like this is work either way- if they want to go back to the old free-for-all style, I'm fine with that, too...

I'm not posting much anymore because I do spend so much time policing everything. I honestly don't know how Marlin did it for so long.
Things are starting to level off some and I've been able to check out/post in other parts of the site besides just the Trading Post forums. Seems to run in cycles.
I've got the best solution for everyone here. I'll sell it to you for $5 each. It's called "run out of money and then you have no reason to check trade forums".

Oh ya, if you send $5 I'll outline a twelve step program in how to run out of money. It may or may not involve sending more money. No promises.

While I thank you for your appreciation, I need to say that we have a whole Mod/Admin team that works diligently to ensure this site is maintained to a high standard for a pleasurable experience for all. While I'd love to take all of the credit, it would be a major disservice to the other members of the team I'm on. I'm merely a cog on the mod wheel (say that 3 times fast).

Back on Long Island there was a Dunkin Donuts on evey conner and real bagels and Pizza too, If I didn't hate to travel I would go back. I miss Dunkins coffee, and the stuff from the store is not the same

Agreed, but I'm liking and respecting this guy more and more with each post! Gotta get up to Bowers and buy an A2 comp just to meet him as he puts it on a Colt or something for me. (now if I could just remember which lake I had that boating accident on)

The Krispy Kreme in Colo Spgs was crazy when it opened.
