So I want to pick up some sight paint for some of my pistols, just not sure which would be a better way to go, the TruGlo Brite-sight or the TruGLo Ghost glow. Anyone have experience with either of these. Are they worth the $20?

I haven't used either one of those but recently picked up a bright red paint pen up at Hobby Lobby and did the front sight on one of my guns. [Beer]

I have used "sight" paint. Didn't see that it was worth the extra cost. I ended up just using paint from a model store. (have built a few models in my time) LOTS more color choices, and seem to last just as long.

Go to a hobby shop, pick out a few colors, a pack of tiny disposable brushes & have at it. Make sure you get a bottle of white to use as a base. Otherwise the colors won't look nearly as bright. I like the neon-ish green from Testors.

Prep the sight with alcohol or nail polish remover for best results.

Go to Sportsmans Warehouse to the fishing section and take a look at "Jig paint". Enamel paint that is tough as nails, about the only thing that will take it off is enamel reducer and it will withstand any bore cleaner. Comes in a slew of colors and 1 jar will last for a long time.
