Anybody going to the South site this Saturday?

If you do and see an old blue Chevy truck, stop and say hey and fling some rounds.

Gonna try and shoot all these rounds I've been reloading.

Might need a ride to the hospital! [Abused] [Beer]

I'd like to go but if you can give me a good excuse to get out of a kids birthday party! Maybe Sunday.
Anyone know of any public land to camp out that way?
Spring Break is coming and want to take the boy shooting and maybe stay over night.

Might need to check, with the rangers for sure. But, I do believe You could set a tent up right there..

If not, then Rainbow Falls CG is a mile south of it.

Rico I alwYs go on rampart road. Make that left at the Micky d's in woodland park and go until you make it 2 miles past the no shooting the next two miles sign. Pick a spot and camp. Only worry is fires.

Next time we head up that way I'll show you my spot.

Go north from Woodland Park on C67 (Colorado State Highway 67).

Look for Rainbow Falls turn off on the right. That's just north of the Teller/Douglas county line.

Look for the MP88 (Mile Post marker 88, the little green signs on the side of the road) then go about 1/2 mile past that.

It will be a little dirt road on the left. It is very easy to miss so go kinda slow and watch carefully.

After leaving the paved road, go up about 200 yards, go to the right side of the fork in the road, about another 200 yards and there it is on the right.
