If you were to buy your first NFA item, would you SBR your 10/22 or buy a .22lr can?

I'm having trouble deciding on what I should do first...I suck at making decisions! I eventually want to have both to make a pocket 10/22 with a can but I'm not sure what step to take first. The "can" can be used on my other .22s but I just love the look of the SBR'd 10/22....I know right there it sounds like I've made up my mind saying I can use the "can" on other weapons but again I suck at these decisions.

What would you do...

There's no option for "Screw it, I'm buying an M2"....

In a rational world, Suppressors woudl not only be unrestricted, they would be encouraged.

I would go with a silencer first because it can be used for more than one gun. I wouldn't get the smallest one. I'd go for the most versatile can.

How many people have hearing loss because of that stupid law?

My first NFA was a Form 1 silencer.

Sounds like I need to start saving for a can now! What small ones can be taken apart? Also, form 1 means you built yours, right? If so I wouldn't know where to start on building a can[Dunno]

Yeah, make sure you can take it apart. Are you ONLY going to shoot .22lr through it? Will you ever shoot 5.7, or even .22lr full auto? What are the different kinds of guns you'll use it with? All rifles? Any pistols?

There you will find some free reviews, or for $30, you can read ALL the reviews. Raw data included.

It'll be for just .22lr and no full auto(I do wish though). It'll go on rifles and pistols for mainly plinking and maybe what SA Friday suggested[Muaha]
