Interesting vid. I wonder how accurate it really is, how much is graphic interface, and how soon before this type of technology is 1) readily available and 2) cheap enough to afford for the average consumer.

I think I would like a world that interactive.
problem is, being part of the system I realize the vast potential for abuse in such a world

A lot... most.... of the technology in that video already exists, or could by combining some gadgets that we already have.
As for it being cheap enough to afford, we're still a decade or two away from that.
They make the Gorilla Glass on my touch screen cell phone. I guess they have had the glass technology since the 60's and are just finding uses for it.

Cleaver ideas, probable something like Bill Gates house. But looks like a very sterile world and did you notice how empty the cities are.
Damn, I need one of those. ( a wife that goes to work while I stay home)[Coffee]
A world that connected is a very dangeorus place.
Recording devices sit behind glass and every networked device is accessible by the man. You put that much of yourself behind glass and you better be living an incredibly squeeky clean life, if you are not it wont take long for the man to come crashing down on you. Not to mention who's to say your idea of squeeky clean is the same as those who have access to observe you?
