Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting to go for a while but never applied. Any suggestions on where to go for a first timer? I've hunted here but haven't been out in Wy.

Can you still just get an over the counter tag???
How much and when. Who wants a person to go with them? I know how to hunt but don't know where in wyoming.

Yes we are going back to area 47 again. My brother has hunted there for quite a few years. We fill all of our tags. (doe and fawn) I am still paying for two of my kids tags too so no $250 bucks for me yet. I think the season starts Sept. 25 but don't know if we are going up the first weekend or not. Area 47 starts about 50 miles north of Laramie IIRC. We camp out in the middle of nowhere. Should be a group of about 10 guys. It's pretty easy to find and just camp out there. The closest rooms are about a hour away so that makes it hard to do. Sniper I will pm you.
