Virginia Middle School Students Suspended for Oregano Possession (http://www.aolnews.com/2011/03/17/virginia-middle-school-students-suspended-for-oregano-possession/?test=latestnews)

"Seventh-grader Adam Grass and three other students at Hickory Middle School in Chesapeake, Va., were suspended last week after being caught with what teachers initially thought was a bag of marijuana (http://www.aolnews.com/tag/marijuana/) but turned out to be a stash of oregano,...Virginia has a zero-tolerance policy against "imitation controlled substances."

A little known fact. Oregano is a gateway herb. Possession and use of oregano leads to use of harder herbs. By the the thyme you are using rosemary and sage you are hooked and in need of a big thyme intervention.

Then there is the northward flow of tons of cilantro across our southern border. Cilantro, mint, and lavender from foreign markets, dare I mention Rancho Liborio, have corrupted the kitchens of America! [Flower]

about time they made it illegal, they busted a kid in my high school that was selling oregano at $10 a gram... they couldn't find anything to charge him with... they even tried fraud, but when they asked all the kids who bought from him.... they were reluctant to admit they thought they were buying anything other than oregano.
