I am thinking about building a 300BLK SBR and getting a can for it. Anyone have any experience with the 300 BLK vs 300 whisper?

There a some threads on there that talk about 300 AAC Blackout stuff.

There are postings that say that you can shoot 300 Whisper in a 300 BLK barrel.

I am currently building a upper in 300 BLK. The thing that sold me on it was that AAC got it approved by SAMMI so other people can develop products for it. Remington is producing ammunition for it for example.

Same thing.

The 300 Blackout chamber is 99.9% identical. The difference is in the throat.

The Blackout has a much longer throat to allow hotter ammo to be used.

Kinda like a 5.56 chamber vs a 223 chamber.

Fun caliber, very easy to suppress.

OK so I am looking to order my components to start loading this stuff but can't find the brass. Do I have to make the brass my self? Is there anyone that sells it?
