anyone know a good shop to take my truck to? already tried the idiots at big-o about 8 weeks ago and after taking it back 3 times something is still wrong.

I wouldnt know where to go
but i am a certified alignment tech-I went to the Hunter school
and I was a front end tech at Ford for 10 years
What issues are you having?It may not even be an alignment issue
It could be something simple as treadwear

popping coming from steering during low speed turns. I investigated and found an idler arm is loose at very least, the truck's got new front bearings, and the tires were rotated and balanced during the investigation.

does the steering bind in any way?
sometimes when your front axle ujoints are bad itll act like the steering is binding-youll also get a popping sound sometimes
its also possible when they reinstalled your hubs they coulda futzed something up as well-thatll also give you a popping sound while driving
what kind of vehicle is it?Fords my specialty but the basics are the same

now the idler and pitman arms are allowed certain movement depending on the manufacture specs-i think Chevy allows almost a 1/2inch up and down movement

by binding you mean get resistance? just before the pop a minor amount.

the popping was before and after the bearings. I did the bearings myself.
91 suburban 1/3 ton

jacking up the right front tire and doing the grab the wheel and try to turn it as to test the bearings the wheel moves (which is why it got new bearings) and after the bearings were done it still does it, then I noticed the idler was rocking back and forth with the movement. At this point it needs to go to a shop worth a damn.
