Colt front sight

Hey Guys:

I am needing a little bit of help if you could. I have an older GI 1911 that the front sight has fallen off and I am finding it impossible to find a replacement. I really dont want to cut dovetails into it being what it is. What I am looking for is a small "tendon style" front sight for an older Colt. I will attach some pictures to help.

Please, if you have a line on one of these guys let me know. I have been looking for about 16 months and have dropped it off with 2 Smiths with no luck. Hoping that you guys might be able to help. Thanks in advance.
