Makes me sick to watch. A lot of good people don't believe it; but all the good of America is slipping away...
I can't tell you how much this angers me, yes its a old story but whenever it is brought up the simple fact is, when all is said and done we are not free.
not their fault.
those officers were encumbered with the extreme stress of the situation, fear of death from the presence of a loaded firearm by someone that was not only not professional enough to use it but also lacked their superior expert tactical training (which is a requirement if you want to own a gun, because as we all know, cops can shoot better than anyone else) as well as simultaneously suffering extreme mental strain from trying to keep mental track of the myriad of juristictional and bureaucratic rules they are forced to obey and uphold (we won't even mention all the LAWS they have to keep track of!), all while trying to remeber wether it was pineapple upside down cake or au gratin potatoes they signed up to bring to the next police union pot luck while maintaining their impenetrable sense of superiority.
the system is broken folks, and the police are just a part of that broken system. how unfair is it to expect these poor pawns of an broken system to obey the constitution, be nice to old ladies and not act like dip shits when they are just as much victims as we are?
you want it to change, then elect politicians that won't force the police to trample rights and act violently with the non violent.
it's all the politicians fault! and don't forget the lawyers! have any of you even considered that the officer that tackled that old lady might have kids!?
he was just trying to get home to see his kids! think of the children!
