I have complete faith in DHLS and ICE that they will deport this dangerous criminal post swift.
Question is, how in the hell did it take this long to figure out he wasn't a US citizen? Surely after the war he bought a house, got a credit card, bought a car, had several other things to do that required him to be a citizen? Sad story....
I have heard of this happening to Vets who can't be buried in the National Cemeteries because of it.

But Davidson says: "I want to get it done before I die." He also still wants to visit his friends and family in Canada. Sen Patty Murray (http://murray.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?p=ContactMe)'s office is helping him with his application. So often we write elected officials expressing disdain.
Let us write this one and express our support for her decision to do the right thing.

You gotta be shittin' me.
ETA: I agree about contacting Sen Murray. Oh, the irony. Contacting Sen Murray for trying to do the right thing. Whoda thunkit.
he was born to 2 US citizens (by law only need to have 1 parent a citizen) so he too is a citizen. To use "because our record keeping back that far is poor" is a bull-shit excuse.

Poor guy. Thanks for serving in the Navy during some of the worst times to be in the Navy.
This guy is probably on some Terror Watch lists as well....

Everyone should know by now that a birth certificate does not have to be produced.

It's official...Mr Davidson received his certificate of citizenship on Tues in Seattle. What a crime to put a guy who was always a US citizen through this.
At least it's done.
Congratulations!

if I was this guy I'd get a rifle and when they came to get me, I'd show them how it works.
