STI front sight removal??

Ok I found this STI 2011 tactical really cheap, there is has a couple issues. One of the problems is that the front sight is seared off, almost all te way to the slide. Before I go and buy it I want to see if its is possible to remove the front sight.

Yeah, i could clear that for you in, oh, maybe 5 minutes. its cross dove tailed, and easily replaceable
