I drove around the block and coasted to a stop with the engine off several times to make the noise easier to hear. The lower pitched stuff is just my badly cupped tires that need replaced. Any ideas?

Is it riding rough?

Does your wife know you hooked the camcorder under your jeep? [ROFL1]

From the video it seems to be vehicle speed related rather then RPM related, it changes as the drive train flexes, it doesnt seem to change turning side to side (from the video) maybe the front diff seal? I have seen stuff get caught in them and make strange noises, also dried out ones make funny noises. Doesnt sound like wheel bearings to me, and they usually change pitch when turning. Pinion bearings (bearings in general) them selves also sound different (I have never ridden under a jeep though).

Note: I have seen plugged vents cause pressure build up on diffs, and plugged PVC's on engines cause high pitched noises like that?

U-joint,axle bearing or differential yoke bearing. Try starting with the U-joints, grease them up to see if the noise goes away, if it does, replace them before they fail. If not then it is a more involved repair for the other bearings.

You can likely duplicate it if you throw it on jack stands and spin it by hand. I'm guessing U joints on the front shaft. Pull it and see if it goes away.

Front wheel bearings. That is part of why your tires are cupped.

Nope I actually spent $250 on a Go Pro video camera and mounts just to post this question. Now I can have some other fun with the camera as well.

That and a long ass trip to Houston and back and missing a couple of tire rotations.

CV joint? Other Universal Joints? Not that I actually know what they are...

My opinion is driveline/shaft, noise matches the RPM of that drive shaft spinning. Probably has non greasable joints, but see if you can take off the front shaft and drive it, I'm just not familiar with the setup to know how it's put together. My 2 cents.

From the video my first guess is the u joint or CV joint in the front driveshaft, but its hard to diagnose stuff like this when you can't see it in person.
If you want to bring it by my place I'll take a look at it.
Try removing the front driveshaft and going around the block. There are 4 bolts on either end of the shaft (they're 1/4" if I remember right), remove em and see if the noise is still there.

Front drive shaft "angry sparrows" is pretty common

pinion bearing the angle on the u-joint seems pretty well zeroed out i don't think it is working back and forth enough to make the noise.

the wheel bearing maybe, but did not notice a change when turning.

I had the same sound coming from my Cv joint in the axle.

Different angle and farther away from the noise but you still hear it. On a side note I like playing with this camera. Interesting view of steering and suspension. And that shiny new oil pan looks out of place I had the rear main seal replaced under the factory 7 / 70 warranty today.

Did you ask the dealer to check it out under warranty?

Yes, he said it wouldn't be covered so I will likely go to another dealer here in town soon with the same story to see if he was just looking to charge for something that would otherwise be covered. I told them not to look at it to deep if I was going to have to pay for it. When I have the cash I will look into it further as it currently is not being driven much. You would think the Drive shaft universals and CV would be a 7 / 70 power-train item. That is of course presuming it is the source of the noise.

How has your experience been with Jeep warranty work? From the sound of it not great. They supposedly offer lifetime powertrain warranties, and if they really stood up for and honored it then there might be sufficient value to buy a brand new Jeep. If not, and more likely, I'm better off buying used.
