We left the suet feeder out one night too long.
This morning it was mangled beyond recognition.

Anyone else see signs of bears waking up?

I have not...yet...but saw some affirmative posts on Pinecam.com last week for activity between Conifer out to west of Bailey. I'm seein' a lot more "little critters" (i.e. Voles) that coincide with "wake-up" though, don't expect too much more time to elapse before I see evidence in my neck of the woods.

We're on a bear "super highway" and we haven't seen anything yet. Wife did find a big mountain lion track just behind the barn, though we never saw the lion.

Ya my neighbor saw one the other day, Said it was a small one though. I have one around here I guess about 300 + lbs they keep pretty much to them selves. But the damn Mountain Lions are getting to be a pain in the ass. They keep pissing all over marking territory. Stinky bastards.
