Greetings,
My name is Eric, I'm a veteran of the US Army, an EMT, a self professed gun nut and preparedness minded individual.
I wanted to take a moment of your time to bring your attention to my company Colorado Tank and Barrel Co (a DBA of Colorado Zero Waste LLC).
We specialize in sourcing used plastic and steel bulk food grade containers - 5 gallon buckets, 15 gallon barrels, 55 gallon barrels, 275 gallon IBC tote tanks. We diligently search the surrounding area to bring you used, food safe containers in great shape at a great price.
We're selling a large number of containers to the preparedness community in Northern Colorado these days and I thought our offerings might be of interest to some of you.
We're located in Longmont, near Left Hand Brewery and Colorado Materials at 1232 Bowen Cr.
You can visit our website and learn more about our company, what we do, what products we stock including pricing at:

Our post here was approved by a board moderator.
In any case, posting twice here in 2 years hardly qualifies as "spamming".
We post two ads a week to Craigslist.
Those are the facts.
It's this weird thing called advertising, it's part of what a business does to attract customers. It's American as baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet (used to be).
Have an outstanding day.

Do you all have a store front? If so are you all there on the weekend?
(In-Laws live 4 mile from you but due to distance I am only ever there on weekends)

I've been out there once and got treated well by Eric. His wife and kid (maybe kids? can't remember) were there. Nice folks. Good products. I was happy to support a local, family owned buisness.

This definitely peaked my interest. Working on getting a new house though, will probably give this another look after I determine my new storage space and not have to move the heavy barrels. thx

Do you deliver? Welcome
We use Colorado based freight companies to deliver for our business.
Pallets can be delivered between La Junta and Cheyenne along I-25 for as little as $65.00 (a pallet is one ibc tote or 4 barrels) and to the Western Slope for about $75.00 - fuel surcharges are changing daily so the best thing to do is call or email with a delivery zip code and the products desired and I'll get you a guaranteed shipping quote.
Thanks

Looking on craigslist, it appears to be another vendor spamming. FYI.
I might pick up one of the pallet type 275 gallon tanks sometime this spring.

Do you guys have gamma seals for 5 or 6 gallon buckets?

We don't.
In our family we eat what we store and store what we eat, we always have 5-6 open buckets that we're cooking and eating from. We use the much less expensive snap on lids ($1.36ea, we re-use these too, btw) and when we have an open bucket of food we use Saver Lids, which cost less than $2.00 and can be used on all your buckets:

That said if you want gamma seals the best prices I've found are at US Plastics:

Good luck!
I have purchased water barrels there once before, face to face.
My experience was fine and I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Drive a little save a lot :)
Just a head up for you guys, I went to see Eric today to pick up some drums. He is a very nice guy with all sorts of containers. His prices have dropped so I decided to get 2 drums instead of one. Would recommend doing business with him if you are in need.

I know this thread has been inactive a few month but I thought I would put out a good word for Eric and his company.
Make the trek up to Longmount to see him today. I'm in the process of cleaning barrels now and will be heading up to see him again in the near future for more.
