Oh and hello, first post. Just picked up a CETME 308 (HK g3 clone) and would like to test it out. Does anyone know of any places near Littleton to shoot rifle? I would strongly prefer outdoors and have a very capable 4 wheel drive. (I have had 20+ pistols but this is my first rifle unless you count a 9mm Ruger police carbine or my M16 when I was in the Army).

The CETME came first. The HK G3 evolved from the CETME.
Try here for a place to shoot-

I'm not sure if a place like this interests you but it looks like the Boulder Rifle Club is kicking off their public range days this weekend. Their website is http://www.boulderrifleclub.com/index.html. I was there for one of their match/event things a couple weeks ago and it seemed pretty nice. On that note, though, I have no idea how busy it will be.
It's an hour away from the Park Meadows/Lone Tree area where I live and it's pretty much all major streets. I might head up to check my rifle's zero if other things don't get in the way.

I go to the national forest. Near Deckers, just follow the laws of shooting in the national forest. About a 45min drive give or take
