Are you looking for the BS laws that the libtards made up in Denver?

Yes I am. I have a friend moving from another state that happens to be of like mind. He is moving within the city limits of Denver and called me to ask, however I don't work or really even play in Denver but I know they have messed up laws. So i was looking for a quick fix (yes I was being lazy).
As long as the kops aren't in their house, then it shouldn't matter.

That's what I said
Also, I've been pulled over in stupid shithole Denver before, and no one ever asked me if I had any "high capacity" magazines in my trunk either. Just tell him to make sure he has all his lower case i's and j's dotted when it comes to parking his car at any meters in Denver. i.e. better have a front plate, or else he magically owes Denver $75.

Boulder is the same way with that stuff...very annoying
I have seen them ticket police cars when they appeared to be on a call...WTF? But hilarious at the same time.

If that ever happens Kevin, please let me know, I will make such a stink they won't be able to ignore me. Ticketing a Brother/Sister Officer while on DUTY??? WTF

This was in Denver on the Auraria campus in fact. I don't work for any of those departments but I will pass it on for sure. I thought that was a little ridiculous.
And it was on street so I am not entirely sure if it was Denver or Auraria Campus that ticketed the patrol car.

I'm really good at making a loud stink for good causes. Have various Police agencies ticket each other while in course of duty is shameful. Now, if we were filming SuperTroopers II, then maybe.... ;?)
The ticket revenue generating machine does not discriminate!

Doesn't work if it's tax payer dollars paying for the ticket

Well.. you ever wonder why they can't figure out the budget.. 'we made x$'s by writing tickets, but where is that money going...'
Hell in Denver they just get your plate # and write random tickets.. I avoid Downtown.. screw Denver.

I wish I could, I am constantly downtown for school lately. Everyday I am reminded why I always hated it.
People who write tickets on parked vehicles are NOT cops.

They are however badged and sworn, correct me if I'm wrong
i've been hassled about my firearms more by lakewood cops than denver cops. i have had a ccw show up through my shirt once in both cities. both times right near cops. Denver just told me to pull my shirt down (as a joke). Lakewood questioned me, ran my permit, ran my DL, questioned me some more and let me go. I was walking out to my car with a gun case from my house to my car parked on the street, the Lakewood cop felt it necessary to stop and question me about what and where I was going to shoot. Same situation where my friend lives in denver, cop just nodded his head as he drove by. mind your own business and Denver cops shouldn't hassle you and you should have no problems.

wrong, they are just hired by the County

edit:don't be fooled by the picture of the badges on that website. they aren't sworn or badged officers.

Ha..funny Lebru mentioned that. When I was pulled over by Denver PD (supposedly stricter than the rest), he gave me traffic warning w/o asking what kind of firearms etc after I showed him my CCW.
Lakewood PD pulled me over for merging w/o signal, and I was stuck for 45 minutes due to the CCW. The ticket was minor - the waiting ruined my appointment.

yeah, my theory is that...Denver cops have more to worry about than someone with a legit ccw permit. Lakewood have to feel important....I have also never gotten a speeding or traffic violation in denver, have 2 or 3 in lakewood.
I edited my op too, posted it prematurely.

I know we have beaten this topic into the ground on the other thread but this is what kills me. Sometimes and only sometimes does CCW info not show up in the system (that I have noticed). However, if I stop a car and the guy hands me a CCW card and it isn't in the system I know he isn't breaking a law by carrying in his car, so why the hassle? Why waste both of our days? I would however inform you that it isn't in the system and to maybe contact the county you got it from and see what was up with that. I don't think you have a CCW making machine at your house, you know?
It was a Lakewood officer that told me that if I had a gun in my car anywhere that I could reach it, without a permit, that there would be a problem. I knew she was wrong, but didn't call her out on it; I was, after all, interrupting her lunch with my question. As I walked away though, her partner questioned her on her answer.
