Hopefully it doesn't take long. I will let everyone know when it shows up in the mail. Debating if I want to send in a form 1 at the same time. Hmmmm, it's only money, and you can't take it with you. [AR15]

You can send them at the same time but they go to two different locations.

Form 1's go to WV, Form 4's go to GA. Sending a 4 to WV or a 1 to GA only delays the process.

Totally understand the different locations, just wasn't sure if I wanted to get the p/w going at the same time. (hoping I would get the stamps around the same time)

Got a Form 1 back a couple weeks ago, sent it in just after new year's, just under 3 months total. FWIW.

Got off the phone with the ATF last week, they have an Agent assigned and gave me a date of May 4th. I guess that is when they got to the bottom of the pile (my paperwork). Hopefully getting closer.

They got mine April 25th and cashed the check the 26th. I'm 1/6th the way through!

I'm not going to call them probably...why did you call after a month?

Did you mean July 4th not May 4th?

The guy I bought it from has several Form 4's and a few 1's. He always calls after a month to verify that an Agent is working on it and if there are any discrepancies. I was just going off that. And yes, they said May 4th.

Occasionally Forms get lost. My last Form was approved after 7 weeks but I never received it. I was very patient and waited almost 6 months before calling them. They told me it was approved about 4 months before. I had to ask for a copy. From now on I will be calling for a status check after 8 weeks.

What info do you give them when calling?

Also, on nfatracker.com they have spaces for when the item goes pending, who gets assigned as the agent, etc. Do they get this info from calling?

All the information is tracked by the serial number of the gun.

The people you call at the NFA branch can give you the staus information when you call as well as contact information to the agent handling the Form.

I believe NFAtracker.com gets its information from individuals sending the info in.

Got the ECO-9. A little louder, a little bigger, but also a good amount cheaper.

That is very nice. I won't tell you what I paid for the evo, it would most likely make you and everyone else jealous. [Coffee]

I was actually looking into the Thompson machine stuff, still thinking about their Zephyr XL 22lr can. That will most likely be next, then a .30 can.
