Anyone own one of these? What are the pro's and con's?

I'm looking to purchasing a G19 very soon. I kind of like the two-tone finish. Who has the best price on these, locally? TIA.

from what I gather, the finish is a lot more refined and has smoother working internals. everything from the slide rails, trigger parts, and recoil spring. slide and barrel are polished i think

to be honest, just get a regular glock 19. the exo's aren't that much more special, and they will run you another 100-150 bucks.

If it works anything like the BCG I have in my AR, I would say hands down buy the EXO. There is difference, especially if you are actually going to be putting rounds down range with your pistol. Rust will never be a concern, it will run smooth for a lot longer than the normal version before a quick wipe down compared to a full tear down cleaning and It will run cleaner and cooler, just to name a few things the EXO technology does for gun parts. If it is going to be a safe queen though, don't spend your money on it.

Were rust and cleaning a problem with glocks to begin with? iirc you can run 15,000 rounds down range without cleaning and not have any problems

not bashing the exo finish at all, I think its wonderful. but rather un-necessary in a glock i think.

That may be the case for whoevers magical gun you had a link to, however each of the glocks I have owned were not so great. My brothers were a little better, but not much and the same holds true for my friends glock's (he is a lover of glocks). I would not buy another glock because of the problems I had with both of mine and those with my brothers and friends. I originally bought them because of the mythological tales I heard from other people. I found out, they were just stories however. Of the few guns that I have seen run flawlessly between my own, brothers, and friends, none of them were any of our glocks. So, from my own experiences with the guns, I think the EXO is well worth it if it can help.

I have in my career only seen one glock really jam up - it had crap in the chamber from a magazine that picked up a piece of aluminum foil gun wrapper and was jammed in there.

I have however, seen glocks that didn't shoot for crap, and ones where the trigger was different every day. Markedly. Without seeming reason.

Had a G34 that wouldn't group under 3" at 25m. Pretty much ever. We took a 17 and shot a one holer at 25m and then moved right over to the 34. Even took the mag out of the 17 after shooting half of it and running the same mag/ammo in the 34. Nada. 4-5" that time.
