my much younger uncle is on Boulder SWAT. Its boulder county, not just boulder city. He works for another PD.
When I saw this story on the news, EVERYONE in law enforcement that they showed on the cameras were all hanging out, smiling, and making jokes with each other. Not a single person looked the slightest bit serious. I thought to myself, "Well, looks like nothing to worry about here," and changed the channel. Glad it ended up okay.

I would lot rather be put into a ferret tank than a shark tank, especially if everyone is smoking weed.

used used to have a couple ferrets! didn't keep them in a tank though. cage is better for them.

A typical pistol suppressor is 300, not much more for rifle. They don't have to go through a dealer to get them, so no markup and they don't pay anything for NFA tax either (exempt). The HK416, IIRC, was 775 apiece when I went to a demo and asked.
HK's guns aren't really that expensive, one of the reasons they use them, they're only expensive on the civilian side because George Bush the 1st banned their importation and no president since has had the balls to rescind it.

fire you gun in the house, and you will know why they have suppressors.
in a building flash suppresion and sound suppression matter.

Its not a question of why LE/MIL uses them.
The point is, why can't WE THE PEOPLE have them. They don't increase the lethality of a firearm, they don't do anything dangerous, there's no reason to restrict them. Hell I've heard that in parts of Europe its considered rude to shoot at a range without one.

i am being sarcastic of course...
but, if more people had cans, they would go around killing indiscriminately. you know because then the guns would be absolutely silent like on tv. and they would never get caught.

I suppose that's the mentality.
The libtards don't understand that those who use them for illegal activities rarely get them through legal channels... just like their firearms.
I'm one of those "firearm restrictions/gun control laws are unconstitutional and illegal" and "2A is my carry permit" people.
You CAN own both a suppressor, and a subgun. The subgun just can't be any newer than 1986.

That's awesome!
My first base was infested with soooooo many flies. They put the sticky paper things in the cadillac's and have to change them every day cause they'd get so full of flies. You'd have a black wriggling strip of flies hanging from the ceiling in a couple hours. Smokers carried a swatter so they could stand still when smoking. We'd dual wield them to clear out the office. People actually argued over swatters.
Do they still have the Bradley? I always thought it would make a great entry vehicle for the more unruly Hill parties. Beyond that, I didn't see the point.

Bradley is still in inventory as is the M113, that the Bradley was supposed to replace. Lot bigger gun, faster, more maneuverable than the M113.
