I have a Glock 19 Gen 4, you can use older Gen magazines with Gen 4's correct? As long as they are Glock 19's or 17's? I think I saw a youtube video on this and maybe a older thread, but just need to confirm.

You can use all of the older gen mags in your gen 4 as long as the mag catch button is on the left side of the frame.

If you reverse the mag catch to the 'left handed' position then only gen 4 mags will work.

Note that if you do come across some of the very early mags that are not full metal lined they will work, but wont drop free. However, these are not commonly in circulation, so its probably not an issue.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but needed some reassurance.

I just bought some (used) Glock 19 factory 15 round mags today online but forgot to ask which Gen, and just wanted to make sure.

Appreciate the response. [Beer]
