naw, that's a field expedient shower.

a tactical shower is a stall that is black or digital camo with magpul soap dispensers and a stealth drain.

+1 for Bowers. Honestly I haven't been to any of the other places. Bowers is really close to me. I got treated really well and was happy with their service, parts, and knowledge. Did a fix on my AR for only a few dollars and it works great.

If you ever make it up north to the loveland,Ft fun area Jensens has lots of nice AR stuff in stock. I'm going to have to take a road trip one day and check out this Bowers all of you are talking about.
(yes I know most of you hate Jensens but they have good prices and a good selection)

I used to work down by Bowers, I used to go all the time after work, haven't been in a while now.

I almost went the other day, just because. Didn't need anything, then I realized I was going to drive an hour to experience my old lunch break! I am still planning on heading down there.

Machine Gun Tours has some stuff too if you are in the West side of town.

If you can break into the magpul complex, I am guessing that would be your best place. might even see some things most shops don't have!

Jensens or Bowers. Both will probably take about an hour to get to. Sportsman's has a few things as well.

You wouldn't see much. MagPul has always been cool about giving dealers some pre production samples to drum up interest.

That, and if its still in the new, gigantic warehouse up there, its probably because its still in parts. MBUS sights are not as easy to assemble as one might imagine ;)

(to clarify, magpul has gotten much too big to have a direct retail operation any more. for some years now, in fact. Great people, but stock goes to distributers first, then retailers. The volume they do is just too much to attend to front door walk ins)

Thanks for all the advertisement, gents! we do appreciate it. We will do our best to maintain that expectation. And remember, if we don't have it, ask for it. our customers help us determine what we should carry.

For the best fondling experience, I would go to Jensen. They have just about everything.

That said, I also like Bowers. I'm bettin' their inventory will grow pretty quickly. [Beer]

Luckily for me, they are both equal distances away. My wallet appreciates that.

Not sure if it is still an option but I used to walk in the Magpul office and buy stuff. That was a few years ago. :D

So after all the talk about Bowers I stopped by today. Rob so hooked me up,
Very helpful and friendly. Didn't spend as much as I thought I would but when he gets the parts in I ordered my gun will be set. Thanks everyone for the tip.

I drove from Thornton down to Bowers today just to pick up a magazine. Felt I couldn't waste the trip so I picked up a couple of other items for my next build as well.

Machine gun tours has some neat stuff too. Also been to Jensens. I think Bowers has more in stock than the other two as far as AR stuff goes.
