i want to do some night time shooting, train with my flash light, and work on vehicle drills in the dark. I haven't found anything saying you cant shoot in NF land, like south site, at night but am concerned with the reaction it might get being dark. Has anyone here done so? did it draw a ton of negative attention? Where do you go for night training?
Thanks
Joe
We did at the HP range several years ago, and sure nuff PCSO's showed up.
All ended well though.

I can't even shoot at night at GGC, sunrise to sunset only.
Maybe if a person had private property.

The south (fountain) range of Frontier one can shoot at night. Sometime this summer I am going to drag the camper out there for some night shooting with my PSL.

So are there places that people go? I was thinking of doing this the next time I went camping but you know it seems so much louder at night...lol
ARIZONA! I learned to shoot at night. To be honest, I just liked the noise and the flash, didn't aim at all. I owned a M44, it was easy to admire. At one point we did get a BP helo though, that was awesome. Nothing like a nice shooting trip with a Blackhawk orbiting. Just flew off eventually.
I think there are rules about shooting in the NF at night, feel like its a sun up to sun down kind of thing.
I say, head far far away, and find a spot all by yourself.
