As concerned citizens for the protections of our constitutional rights, I am sure some, if not most of you are members of NAGR.

The emails, is it just me or are they getting worse?
Its one thing to point and say "Look what they are doing, we need help."

but I think Dudley is slipping off of the edge here.
I know the BATFE needs to be reigned in... ALLOT I dont contest this.
I just wonder if he knows how pathetic his panhandling is getting.

Project Gunrunner Getting Worse and Worse

Byte,

Project Gunrunner.

If you’re not familiar with the term already, it’s a name every gun owner and freedom-lover should know.

Under the “Gunwalker” program the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) has been knowingly funneling American guns into Mexico.

To make matters worse, one of those guns was used by a Mexican drug runner to kill a United States Border Patrol Agent.

I need you to take action today by signing the fax, linked at the bottom of this email, to Speaker of the House John Boehner, demanding the ATF be held accountable for their abuse of the law.

The BATFE’s negligence and their obsession with pursuing their anti-gun political agenda cost the life of an American law enforcement officer. It’s simply outrageous.

The details of the scandal are straight forward:
The ATF wanted to track the number of guns going into Mexico, to pad their anti-gun stats.
The ATF forced gun dealers – against the dealers’ better judgment – to sell weapons to prohibited individuals with known connections to gun-smuggling operations.
ATF officials then forced their agents to allow these questionable characters to walk across the border with their newly-purchased firearms without being stopped for the purposes of “tracking” these same firearms.
A Federal agent is then murdered by some of the same weapons that were allowed to be trafficked into Mexico.
ATF agents who were on the ground then came forward to testify against this disastrous project, but were blacklisted by senior ATF and Justice Department officials. To top it off, this comes while ATF press releases continue to spread the flat-out lie that over 80% of all the guns used in Mexico’s drug war come from the United States.

And now, officials all the way up to the Obama White House are denying any knowledge of an operation that would have clearly needed high-level approval.

I don’t believe for a second that a project such as this one didn’t have to be signed off by a big wig.

The ATF has simply ignored Congressional requests for documentation of their operation. It has even come to the point where ATF leaders are being subpoenaed by Congressional committees.
And yet, they continue to flaunt their obvious contempt for the rule of law.

Unless it’s their “rules” and their distorted “laws”, of course.

Like you, I believe this has gone on long enough. Unfortunately, I’m virtually certain it’s going to get worse.

As I’ve told you in the past, the ATF will continue to spin this story into an opportunity to beg Congress for more authority and more tax payer dollars by claiming that if they had enough money and authority, situations like this would not occur.
It’s times like these that I don’t want to be right.

But the only way to avoid that outcome is for you to take action.

As the saying goes, there’s strength in numbers.

This rings especially true when talking about the power-hungry Obamacrats in Washington.

I need more people like you who are willing to stand up and say “enough is enough.”

To make that happen, I need you to help me out. Both you and I know that the bigger we are, the faster our “employees” in Washington will listen.

Bureaucracies like the ATF will continue to disregard that fact – that they work for us – until an organization is so big and so loud that it simply cannot be ignored.

The National Association for Gun Rights intends to be that very organization.

But like I said, I can’t do that without your help.

I need you to donate what you can in order to make this the biggest, loudest and toughest gun rights group in the land. I want the people in Washington to be scared when they hear our name.
Far too few members of our House and Senate have spoken up on behalf of their constituents on this subject. They have forgotten who they work for, apparently.

You and I need to hold their feet to the fire.

Click here to send an Action Fax to Speaker of the House John Boehner demanding he hold the ATF accountable for their actions. (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/5707931:8481732141:m:1:236201029:58060364A4ED289DB 1EF47A0DD7BB409)

After you’ve signed the fax, please consider chipping in $15, $20 or $30 to help the National Association for Gun Rights turn up the HEAT on the ATF in Washington, D.C.

I am depending on you to help me out. Make no mistake; the ATF is a powerful organization that thinks they can get away with playing by their own rules.

This is a big fight.

By signing the fax you are ensuring that your voice is heard loud and clear in saying that no, they must adhere to the same laws as you and me (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/5707931:8481732141:m:1:236201029:58060364A4ED289DB 1EF47A0DD7BB409).

By contributing a few bucks to the cause, you help this organization get messages like this one out to more and more people.

Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to support the fight for our Second Amendment right.

For Liberty,

Executive Director
National Association for Gun Rights

P.S. Don’t let the lack of coverage in the media fool you into thinking Project Gunrunner isn’t a big story! If the ATF gets its way, they will gain more power and be vindicated in their abuse of the law. Help us make sure they get held accountable for their deplorable actions!

Please click here to send a fax to Speaker Boehner and demand he hold the ATF accountable (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/5707931:8481732141:m:1:236201029:58060364A4ED289DB 1EF47A0DD7BB409).

Once you’ve sent your fax, please consider making a generous donation to help the National Association for Gun Rights fight the anti-gun ATF.

It's kinda taking on the tactics of the US concealed carry association whatserever. Lots of emails, lots of asking for money.

Case in point. My membership recently came due. I practically got a countdown in emails, even from some other names, saying renew renew, last chance etc etc. For about 2 weeks. I eventually did renew, but there were times I sure considered not to.

I agree Byte. I got this mailing too and was thinking the same thing a I read it.

I understand organizations like the NRA, RMGO, NAGR, etc. can't operate without funds, but...

I am so sick of the perpetual give, give, give letter and eMail messages. I'm actually waiting for the phone calls to start coming asking for money.

I thought the NAGR email was abit over the top since he makes a lot of statements with nothing to back them up (Hey, I don't care for the BATFE either but I'd provide SOMETHING to back up the comments if I had posted the same things).

Even though I thought it was a bit over the top, he had me on-board to "send a fax" up until the point of asking for $$. It left me wondering if all of the hype of the message was not so much for the gun rights fight as it was a fund raising effort.

the way I see it, we can't get comfortable, we can't think that everything will be okay and our rights will remain without fighting for them.

IMO we are heading further and further into a hole, hopefully one we can get out of.

anti-gun organizations are not sleeping, are not waiting around for us to give up our rights and say we have had enough of our guns...they are actively seeking them out, actively asking their members to pressure politicians or buy them off or use any incident they can to get them to put legislation into the system, hopefully breaking down our rights bit by bit.

NAGR, NRA, RMGO all work to keep those bits on, or put them back together.

now I think they honestly need to go further. I see no reason why people can't own a silencer without a tax stamp. silenced or not, a gun shot is a gun shot, a murder is a murder.

and full autos...I can see where they could be a bit of an issue for police, but they always seem to have at a minimum the same or better technology. The way full autos were banned seemed illegal to me, and was an absurd way to watch how our right to ownership was taken away. and damn it, the constitution says not a damn thing about limiting which arms can be owned.

Dudley may be panhandling but he's not over exaggerating the ATF scandal.

If I had the money to spare, I would donate. However, as a "starving student," all I can look at is the fact that I still have my guns, I still have my ammo, and the day the government tries to take them away from me is the day that I will stand up with the rest of y'all, and I know it can and very well will be quite ugly.

I know the BATFE needs to be reigned in... ALLOT I dont contest this.

as I Said, They are overstepping by allot, its obvious.
They are trying to pull some serious CIA Blackops shit and they dont have the experience. Hell, the CIA can't even do it right all of the time. (Iran-Contra)
I 'm not even against giving them money (when I become employed again)to fight and defend our rights from... ourselves.
For the life of me I am still trying to figure out how I have to pay for all of these hate groups and agencies taking my rights.

This was more directed at the poor posturing Dudley did before begging for money.

reminds me of Ollie Williams from Family Guy

We now take you to Ollie Williams at the NAGR, Ollie...

BATFE TAKIN' YO GUNS AN OPPRESSIN' EVERBODY, SEND MONEY!!

Thank you Ollie, In our next story we discuss why Diane is a mean tempered old sow.

I usually send the petition and just close the window when the request for money comes up. An accumulation of names (supporters) is needed, and although I would like to contribute, I can't presently. So signing it is enough for me right now.

I donate when I can but agree that Dudley needs to give us some "ammo" so we can be more effective than just signing a petition or sending money...I've said it many times before, give us some facts Dudley so we can formulate our own arguments to use with our representatives and other anti-gun peeps we run into. Educate us, don't just try to scare us into giving money. We're on the same team. I just feel like he's so vague in every email...like he's withholding information.

Nothing beats the last one though..."They are going to take our shotguns! Buy this book to stop them." Ha!

doom , money , more doom and money .
im just waiting to see a guy outside my local gun shop swinging a bell like the salvation army at Christmas. or running around the city with a clipboard collecting names like some green peace activists .

i feel like we keep throwing money at these organizations and all we get are stickers and attacked by the media .do i need another sticker? NO. What i need is a representative that will get the job done with the least amount of whining and panhandling .
