I went there for the first time last week after they posted here about their Leupold sale. Nice little store, packed to the rafters with ARs, ammo, silencers, JP, Magpul, even LaRue stuff - a tacticool dream. Quick, friendly, professional service - the guy at the register, Matt, gave a friendly "Hi!" to everyone who entered the store. It was clear that they're greateful for retail customers and make them feel welcomed. I ended up getting a Leupold CQ/T at a shockingly good price. Surprisingly, they had the LaRue mount in stock, so I had it up and shooting the same day.

I remembered seeing a couple of boxes full of tiny pins, springs, and detents for AR rifles - nice to know they're there on short notice.

Yesterday, I needed a detent spring that I smashed while switching stocks, and I went back to MachineGun Tours to pick one up. This time, the man at the register, RW (I think that's his name), could not have been more helpful. Found the spring I needed, asked a bunch of questions to make sure that is the right one (even though I knew it was), had me show it to him on an AR rifle, THEN, he dragged some AR-build guru from the back of the store to verify that they're sending me home with the correct spring. The dude really had my back on this one. All this service for a 75 cent spring!

Great service, great inventory! The only unsolicited suggestion that I have for them is to get rid of the display of machine guns that are on the floor in the middle of the store - it is a major trip hazard and it makes their already small space feel cramped instead of cozy. The mellow dog laying around is a nice touch, though. :-)

I'm not affiliated with the store, owners, or employees. Just a very happy customer!

Nice to hear such positive feedback. I've never been in the store but have heard nothing but good things about them. I probably should go there, they aren't very far from me :).

I went in there for the first time a few weeks ago to pick up an AR pistol lower. Guys were real helpful and professional. I'd use them again. [Beer]

The gentleman who does their gunsmithing was in my place of work a couple weeks ago and we struck up a conversation. He was very personable, and I think he may be the AR guru you're talking about. I have some gunsmithing that I may need done soon, and this is the first place I'll go. Close, friendly, and I've heard a lot of good things.

Now that I think about it I think his name was Jay, but that's just shootin' from the hip.

Picked up a new AR the first time I walked in shop. The guys were professional, friendly and gave me the best customer service I have received yet at any gun shop...anywhere. They will continue to receive my business. Hats off to MGT

I stopped in there a few months back looking for a Magpul trigger guard for my AR. They were about the only ones in the metro area that had em in black. The guys were great, greeted me as soon as I walked in, and straight up said, "If you have any questions or want to see anything, just ask. If you want to just hang out and drool for a while, feel free." Good prices on Magpul stuff from what I saw.

Every time I have gone into MGT the staff has been great.
The prices are competitive and the selection is solid.
RW/Robert/Bob is a great guy. My wife and I have trained with him and he is a solid contributor to the shooting community.

I have also had the pleasure of shooting with Josh

I like that the staff is not just standing behind the counter selling guns but is also active in the community at competitions as shooters, Trainers and RSOs

Huge +1

I was a little disappointed to see a wall of Pmags, at $60+ a piece, I generally liked the store been there a few times. But instead of stickering bullshit prices on stuff, just pull it. This was a week or two ago. I understand not wanting to sell regular priced Pmags to a guy thats gonna turn and burn them for $60 but I think they should just pull them down instead of making a joke out of their pricing, or gouging the guy that does need a few.

the price on pmags is HIGHER at another shop not too far away. Order some from Magpul.

PMags are now at $30 a piece there and they have A TON of them in stock.

Stopped in yesterday to have some work done on my shotgun. Guys were super friendly - prices on their ARs are high, but they are everywhere else too...

Stopped by yesterday. They had a lot of .223 ammo, 1000rd cases were $800 IIRC. Had a couple Tavors and a lot of ARs in stock. Lots of PMAGs and MSAR polymer mags. Lots of other Magpul stuff in stock.

Yep. They have just about everything in stock. And any of it can be yours for the right price. I saw they had two of the Tavors like I want on hand. Don't think I'll be paying their asking price for them though.

They did have a complete DPMS oracle parts kit (everything but the stripped lower) for $525.

I stopped in, prices are pretty high, I can get ammo cheaper at my regular stop. And mags are still $30, twice what they should be, but the got a shitload.

What are they asking for the Tavor?
