Thanks for the link, its a good read.
The FLIR shots and harmonic charts were particularly interesting IMO.
Also liked his thoughts about the parts availability situation.

m4carbine.net is about as bad as ar15.com. bunch of wannabe operators.

interesting read though, just not particularly useful in the real world

has anyone see the videos of the ARX160 Breatta has been developing? i think if it does what they say it can it will be huge competition for AR, ACR and scar. only issue is its not available right now!

jump to 15:00 if you just want to see the rifle or watch the whole thing!

There are some very highly qualified people on that forum. But IMO It's just they seem to think everyone else wants to be a high-speed ninja operator. And then there's the wannabes that hang out online with the real guys.

And you're right about real-world usefullness of that particular article for the average AR owner...unless you need a sleep aid.

you and me both! if what he said is true and will be under 2000 msr i will consider buying one! although might be a year or two before its available who knows where we will be with laws and or are economy for that matter. Another rifle i would consider is the colt SP901 .308 or 5.56 this one isn't out yet either currently!

the problem is the people who actually know anything are few and far between. the rest ride on their coattails and make claims of their elite status and thumb their nose at anything that doesn't meet their criteria.
