maybe if he drove a Suburban rather than a Citroen, he'd be used to a vehicle that throws it's weight around... [ROFL1]

seriously tho, someone needs more training.

I saw a news clip that said the smaller plane was to blame. Said he stopped short on his taxi way.

I think the biggest plane I've ever been on is the size of the small plane. Hard to tell from the video. That big plane looks HUGE.

Still no excuse to beat the poor little guy up!
I haven't heard anything as to whose fault it was.

I heard on the news that each wing on the big plane is equivalent to a 23 story building!

Isn't this an tautology? Is there a time where FRENCH is not the same as DUMB? It all works: French Fries -aka- dumb fries (even though this was invented by Thomas Jefferson for a state dinner).

Gotta love the French :).

I heard some preliminary speculation (from pilots) that the RJ pilot did not move far enough off the taxiway in use by the A380 and might be considered at fault. It seems to me, though, (and I'm not a pilot...didn't even stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night) the A380 pilot should have used a little more caution when passing by the RJ. I've heard there are only 4 A380s in service right now so the experience level with moving them around airports is pretty low.

Here's an interesting size comparison:

The Spruce Goose, An225, A380 and 747

I frequently see a Quantas A380 at LAX, it's flippin' huge.

As for the French.... As one of my German friends told me - 'the only people that like the French are the French'.

Dumb french airplanes!. DIA may be seeing a divert flight of 2. Air France is now offering directs from SFO to Frankfurt (or somewhere over there). DIA is mid route and can handle a A380.

The French have small penis's according to the International study, so they must take advantage of every situation when they feel Bigger.

There are reports that the smaller plane had not taxied into his spot far enough.
Essentially he had left his ass hanging out and the French, being French, had to hit that

I guarantee that none of the pilots involved are stupid, nor did they wake up in the morning planning to be involved in an ACCIDENT.

It was an accident guys..............

What is this rational thought you're having here? This thread is only suitable for making simplistic assertions about millions of people based on the geographic location of their birth.

We don't cotton to no logical thinkin'...

If this were cars, the moving plane would be at fault. There isn't really an excuse for hitting a stationary object; even one that is sitting where it isn't supposed to be.

And what Hip said. Although I'm sure everyone is just joshing.
