Is there anywhere in the Denver Metro area or in Fort Collins where I could store some firearms in a safe facility for 7-8 months? And if so what costs would I be looking at? Im headed down to Ft. Sam Houston till December and if I cant find a good place to trust my babies at I may just sell 'em because I don't have many and they certainly aren't rare.

-Thanks in advance

Bury em in an ammo can in a safe spot for SHTF.

When I ship out I plan on leaving mine with a family member and a close friend... I trust them over some storage facility. You don't have anybody you can trust to keep them safe?
If you rented out a storage unit and brought them in there in a backpack or guitar case, something that won't say "hey look I have guns in here," that'd be a good alternative IMO... I hear stories all the time about people clearing out a deceased family member's storage unit and finding a bunch of firearms they didn't know about, I would think the chances of someone randomly breaking into YOUR unit are fairly low.

I'd store 'em for ya if I had a big enough safe, really I would. And I wouldn't even shoot 'em. Seriously. But I don't have the safe space, so, can't hep ya.

But my point is, somebody DOES have the safe space, and should be willing to store a bro's guns for him. I wouldn't mind doing so if I could.

Plus one I would imagine so one here has a safe to allow them to hang out

If you dont have any family members in town you can trust, some folks on this board Id trust to ask and Im sure they wouldnt charge you a dime to store your firearms.

Depending on the amount I may be able to help since I cleaned out my safe about a month ago [Bang] :( and I own my house, so not going anywhere anytime soon.

Also I would put those "socks" on em if I did store them in another person's safe.

Well my ma lives in Littleton but she doesnt want anything to do with guns and wont keep them while I'm gone. I found some one to buy my long guns but I just can't seem to part with my Sig P229 so that is all I would need stored. My ship date is May 9th so I got a few weeks to figure this out. If any of you could help with just storing this it would be awesome (I'll get you a six pack or a 12'er for your assistance).

Did ya honestly think you would have an issue with someone on here storing a gun at no cost to us. Hell usually we all buy a gun never shoot and resell it this is the same just cheaper :)
