Sorry, I do not support Businesses that do not support the 2d inside of their own stores.

Understandable of the three ranges within distance to me they offer the best facilities.
Cherry creek does not either and are basically uber nazi's and do not offer different ranges and the 1/2 hour time between target changes sucks.
The shootist is a no go because I have had 2 horrible range safty problems by employee's and the ventilation sucks

I shoot there quite a bit and don't necessarily care for a lot of their practices but can I ask exactly what you mean? Not sure if I am thinking the same thing you are.

Otherwise I have to say I would rather shoot pistol there than at Cherry Creek which are the two closes ranges to me.

What time do they usually open? If it was slightly earlier I could have made it.

sign on the front door : Absolutly no loaded firearms allowed. All firearms must be unloaded and in a case.

I never read signs, I do what I want...[Beer]

Yeah, definitely seems to target CCW holders. I get the case thing though.

I do it anyway because concealed is concealed. If I'm going to shoot the carry gun, I unload it at my car then load it and holster at my car after.

Hmm. Never remeber seeing that one....not that I would give a shot about it anyways. Concealed means concealed.

What happened

What happened
Well, they sent my Kid's BCM Lower (complete) back because they said he had to be 21. He was 19 at the time.

After they took his CBI

So he lost shipping, CBI and restock fee for the completed lower.

I went in a while before that, waiting on my Kid to get home from work, Wanted to do some shooting.
So I Stop in, They ask what I am shooting. I explain I am going to shoot my Carry and they act like I kicked their puppy and screwed their sister.
So I haven't been back since.

21? That's BS. It would be registerd as a rifle I thought?

Buttstock installed; yes - it's a rifle. Unfortunately some of our beloved counter top commandos have their heads stuck pretty far up their asses.

I do agree, sometimes doing business with them is annoying because they act like they are going out of their way to tell you th big secrets of the gun universe.

True story on the loaded gun things. A few years ago when my friend and I finished the academy we went there to shoot our duty guns all stoked that we got hired. My buddy's dad came with us and has been a cop with denver for about 30 years. He has been in four gunfights and receieved two medals of valor, which I didn't know at the time. The guy just has one of those looks like he might just kill you. Anyway, we all go in, and my buddy's dad is open carrying his 1911. Right away some guy yells at him and says, "you can't carry like that." My buddy's dad did absolutely nothing. He just stared at the guy behind the counter without moving. The guy behind the counter got real nervous and studdered, "are you a cop?" My buddy's dad replied with one, "yes." And that was the end. But he had that look in his eye that he was about to kill everyone, even me and my buddy just because we were near.

Those guys behind the counter really annoy me sometimes. Also, I think the owner has a tendency to be jerk. Not that I agree with the sign at all, I can sort of see their point with it. It is Aurora and they are probably just trying to isolate the location of the loaded guns...but again I don't agree with it.

By the way, my thought, concealed is concealed. Many times I have walked in with my conceal gun on and pulled it off on the line to shoot it. I don't give them special treatment by doing it in my car. That's what the range is for...in my opinion.

Ahhh, I See,
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed except in Aurora because we want to Disarm the populace in the Bad areas to make it easier for the criminals that do NOT give a fuck about the Laws to shoot you and rape your Kids.

I Missed the memo on that change.

Gun control, Historically, has only caused an increase in crime rates.
So Banning Guns from your store only broadcasts the vulnerability of your patrons to those that really don't really give a fuck what you have on your door.
It's why we call them criminals.

Now, on the other hand you have the Law abiding Citizen.
I wont break the rules, But I also do not have to shop there.

I Guess what I am trying to say is, Gun free zones do not work, what in the hell makes anyone think it will work in a Gun-shop where criminals REALLY want to come in and rob you?

If you feel that you'll be shot and your kids will be raped quit being a little sissy bitch and keep your ccw strapped tight; don't let a little sign scare you because 9x's/10 they only seem to apply to your typical law abiding moron and thug types.

I completely agree that gun free zones do not work I was merely trying to say that I was attempting to put myself in their shoes to see their way of thinking...although I don't agree with it.

On the other hand this shop is also really close to me and given prices for a lot of things I will do what is easiest and cheapest for me as well.

Well don't forget, the guys behind the counter are open carrying. Sometimes two guns. They'll protect you.
