Anyone else see the S&P's credit outlook rating for America? They changed their rating to "negative" and stated that it would be unlikely for the government to be able to make any positive changes within the next two years. its getting ugly.

as bad as it is, I see it as a good thing when it comes to our chances to oust obongo. people need to hate what is going on in their lives and still vote for real "change"

That maybe the only good.

I have said it alot and I say it again.
Belt tightening is going to get worse.
Already they are talking 5.00 a gallon gas, and there is No shortage.
Some other products may see a huge increase or be NON attainable, so stock up on some things.
Costco and Sams have pallets of survival food, Hmm wonder why.
Gold was off the charts again today silver not far behind.
Simple common sense prepairedness is in order.
And hey if things don't get that bad then more camping stuff in the store house.

yep. in USA TODAY the CEO of EXXON said there is no shortage, and gas prices will rise this summer.

at least $4 a gallon, but closer to $5 is probably a pretty good guess. then the fuel surcharges start, extra fees from airlines for travel, food prices increase, everything will increase. this will be the start of super inflation IMO.
I should probably invest in some gold or silver. things are definitely looking like they will get worse.

Sounds like I timed the dumping of my stock pretty well.

What stock?

Inflation usually means that the Market rises. Unless we get stagflation, which is a real possibility. Meh, who the hell knows.

Just time to start short selling some of the retails, with gas prices effecting food, travel, Etc don't see a whole lot of consumers hitting the shops as much.
