Does anyone here reload .50 cal? I have some old empty cases and just picked up a few .50 cal projectiles. I just want to press them in for display purposes.
Thanks

Yes, I reload .50BMG's. If you just want to make display type .50BMG cartridges by "pressing them in", you will still most likely have to at least resize the necks to get a decent tight fit of the projectile or those projectiles will probably just drop freely right down into the case. Just my worthless opinion. Good luck.
Never mind, I got it, big C-clamp did awesome
Every guy needs at least one dummy .50 cal round, they really wow the unwashed masses of non-gunnies. "That's not a bullet, THIS is a bullet!"

Yep I agree. I have a bunch empty cases, but it has a much bigger impact when you show someone a full(but inert) cartridge with a projectile in it too.

I've got an old 20 mike mike shell my buddy found on a base. That thing is AWESOME. Anybody here have a projectile they would be willing to load in it? The neck is kind of smashed but it shouldn't be a problem for someone who knows what they're doing.

So out of curiosity I Googled 20 mm and found some for $6. If anyone wants one let me know and I will order a few.

Are they the entire cartridge or just the projectile? Is that six bucks a piece or for a few of them?
