I thought guns were illegal in the UK! How does something like this even happen?

A shining example of a once-great country brought to it's knees by liberalism.
You know what they say, "when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have them".

Clearly a story fabricated by Andrew Brietbart and John R Lott ... didn't happen ... nothing to see here ... move along.
As I am sure a lot of you feel the same, this enrages me. This pisses me off to no end because this is the future our political leaders want for us. To cower defenselessly while the criminals/politicians (same thing) do as they please.

well I for one think the Crown and Parliament should pass some more gun control laws! Obviously the ones they have in place simply are not up to snuff.

+1 and these fools even disarmed the traffic and patrol police. Only few units in territorial dept. have arms. So even if you call 999 on an ongoing gun crime, they won't be able to help you until dispatch can get the armed unit responds. Pathetic!

Well you read my mind, off to the next thread
Wow. This is pretty much exactly the scenario that goes through my mind when I think of gun control.
Harry Brown never would have stood for this BS. Just goes to show you that fighting may be worth a shot after all.

I think that draconian gun control laws are good, even if they save only one murdering thugs life.
