Beretta model 58 Skeet questions...

I sold a boat today and took a Beretta model 58 Skeet 12 guage over/under as partial trade. I had a weak moment. The gun is "purty" and was calling my name. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about it.

I'm pretty sure Beretta makes one of the more solid shottys out there for trap and skeet. Is this model one of the 'good' ones. I know it's older- mid '70s and is in very good condition.

Is it a keeper? More importantly, is it worth anything? I probably screwed myself, but we all have weak moments from time to time.

Beretta stackbarrels have always been good guns, but their quality has gotten better incrementally for a long time. The older ones are still great shooters, but the finish quality wasn't as high and so they are not worth a ton. The lack of screw-in chokes, and therefore the ability to shoot steel, really effects the value.

The specific model number isn't that important. In the days before the 680 series guns, they changed model numbers all the time. If you post some good pics along with specifics about the condition (any rust, major dings, bluing wear, etc), I can give you an approximate street price and maybe an idea of when it was made.
