Hey all, I'm looking for an AR15 upper to borrow for a few hours. I need an upper with regular handguards and a twenty inch barrel. I had one but sold it.

I need one to use as a poser for some pictures I need to take for a new equipment review. This won't happen for a few days or so, maybe not until next week.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've got one up here in Denver if you need it. It's a flattop with reg HG's and FSP

Thanks. I'll put you on the available list if nobody else can help me. That is pretty much the configuration I was hoping for.

Well I tried Tom's uppers and they have them super accurate NM style free float tubes on them... so my test stuff won't fit.

Who's next in line? Anyone else in the Springs before I go North? [usa]

This is what I have to offer it is a Colt sporter made 6 months before the AWB. It is brand new I only shot it once many years ago less than 300 rounds through it. In anticipation of the AWB Colt did not put a bayo lug on it, However if you need it it's yours.

I have an 86' Colt A2 HBAR upper available, with bayo lug  (not sure what you are looking for) 1/7 twist and stock except a smaller non-standard rear apature and shaved down front sight post. Oh yea it has an Armson OEG old style on it (but that can be taken off).

Thanks guys.

I'm writing another gear review for the website. I'm testing and or evaluating a new set of two piece non-free float railed handguards. They replace the regular handguards with no modifications.

I don't need to shoot it, or load it, or even take it anywhere. I just need to slap these handguards on, take some pictures, mount some stuff on the handguards, and then take some more pictures.

Weather permitting, it should only take a day or two. Then it all pops off and you're good as new.

This is what I get for selling my 2o inch upper. As soon as BCM gets some more in, I'll probably have to buy another one.

I'll try to sort this out later today. I'm gone all next week to a dignitary protection course, then I'm home for the rest of June.

Thats fine I do not have a deadline to get it back and you can try them on it if you want and the HBAR does not proclude your test from working. Just let me know, I am in the Springs 5 days a week.
