Those are really cool, but I wonder what one would store in the actual missile silo, without having any missiles...the underground bunker would be awesome for sure...

They did a show on extrenme homes and a guy in WY has one and to make it more conventional he added indoor lighting and murals to give the feel of outside.
They are designed to take a direct nuke blast and still keep tickiing.

There are a lot of old silo's for sale actually. Last we checked there were a couple in the denver area and in the springs area for sale. I forgot the website we found, but they sold all of the old properties for the government that were like that.

judging by the fact that they charge for video tours, my guess is theyd want to make sure you are really serious about buying one. but who knows
