I've been planning shoots for the past year out in Pike NF. We usually have 10-15 members show up. I'm familiar with the regs and in groups larger than 10 we ensure everyone has a habitat stamp. Safety is harped on and a firing line is established with a safe backstop. Now for the question. I have posted the info for the shoot on numerous other sites and would like to include members here. When reading through the "get together/shoot" sub forum rules it states that at "Club Shoots" no alcohol is permitted. This isn't a club shoot....not at a sportsmans...and not being organized by COAR15.com. I want to make sure there is no issue with posting the information of the shoot with the stipulation that alcohol is permitted, only after the firearms have been put away for the day. This rule is enforced and we have not had any issues in the past 5 shoots I've organized. It's a campout over 3 day and 2 nights. If a mod gets ahold of me via PM or on here I'll send the link and you can check it out for yourself. I hope it won't be an issue because I'd really like to be able to invite the members here to come along as well.

I'll post up as long as I get permission or clarification from staff/mods. Don't want to piss anyone off. Their site...their rules.

If you are drinking while shooting, you had better not associate yourself with us.
If you are drinking After the guns are put away for the day. I see no problem.
Clear enough?

FWIW- last fall myself, bro in law, nephew and youngest son attended one of CMS's shoot/campouts.
A good way to spend a weekend and the folks that were there were responsible and the beers napped in the cooler until the end of the day.
Good food, good company and good folks. Expensive, dumped a bunch of ammo but WTH........
Just stay upwind of CMS around the morning campfire[Muaha]
Keep planning them...............I may not make all of them but a nice weekend get away.

As stated before...no alcohol is to be consumed before or during shooting. If you attempt to do so you'll get a personal escort from our camp area by me and will never be invited back. With that said, for anyone interested take a look in the "get together" subforum....Posting the info now.
