View Full Version : Colorado Freedom Memorial (Aurora)
The local Patriot Guard helped out with ceremonies today.. they're looking to have this place started (ground breaking) on Memorial Day next year ('07).
This memorial is to honor the fallen hero's from Colorado.

I talked with the founders of this memorial and they said that if each of the Vets in CO gave just $5, this would be a done thing.
won't you please consider helping them out is some way?
thanks

I think this would be good for Colorado. I would be more than happy to pitch in a few bucks here and there. Maybe if someone would pass around the ole hat at the next few shoots, Co.AR-15 Shooters Club could sponsor one or two of the names by the end of summer. Set a goal for Co.AR to raise $ 223 and to make it an even 230, (the cost of one name) that's where you come in 7 . Your 7 bucks will be all we need to sponsor a fallen hero. It's the least we could do as a club to Honor the Names of Freedom. [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa] [usa]

I'm all for this as well. Rather than contribute on the website, I'd prefer doing it at one of the club shoots.
I realize I'm new to the club and haven't had a chance to shoot with everybody yet, but I'm looking forward to it and suspect that more than a few are intimately familiar in one way or another with the armed services and the sacrifices made for our freedoms.

If somebody collects at AR Wills pizza blast Monday, I'd be willing to donate $$$$$$$
Since Will is covering the cost of the food & bev. I would be willing donate what I would have spent for the meal + my regular donation.
