I'm a dad now!

My son is here! It felt like it took forever but the wait was worth every minute. Our little guy was born on Saturday April 30th weighing 7lbs 15ozs and 20" long. He made an incredibly dramatic entrance to the world and got to spend his first three days in the NICU, not at all where you want them to go but thank the Lord it was there. After a lot of prayer and care from the doctors and nurses he made a full recovery! Once my wife was cleared to go we left the hospital (5 days later!), we survived our first night at home, and now are facing the first day at home for our new family. He's fantastic. It still seems crazy that he's ours and we get to keep him!


Side note- I'd really like to thank the CO-AR members for dealing with my sluggish holster service recently, I really appreciate it, thanks a lot! With my family all together and healthy now I should be getting back to fast again (after I figure out this sleep thing I'll really be good :) .

Thanks you guys! It is pretty wild having another human who relies on you and amazing knowing that we made him.

I'm going to hold off of the IWB holster for him, he's amazingly talented at destroying most of what's inside his waist band :) But I'm already thinking about stuff like that, I can't wait to show and teach him all the fun things to do, I'm excited to have a little dirtbiking, fishing and hunting buddy in a short time!
