Snap -on, or Proto. What ever it takes to get the job done, in a satisfactory manner. I missed that Hornady LnL s/stage 2 weeks ago. Should have snagged it, put the rcbs for sale.

You know, $440/2000 equals $0.22/case. So you can either buy new brass that's already trimmed, or buy a trimmer, trim it all and then have a fancy new tool.

Borrow my giraud for a weekend. When you look at your trimmed brass, 1 .5 hours later, you'll rethink your mindset. Whistler came over one morning, started on his 5 gal bucket.. between breaks and bs'ing, he still did in 1 - 2 hours what would be 1 month's worth of trimming. If you reload in volume, crying once makes life easier. I refilled go through 4 - 5 different telomerase still wish they spent the $$$ up front. The Dillon 1200, is 1/2 girauds price, invest in that.

Wow, just.... wow.
If I were to transfer into the engineering school at the new university I work at, to complete my mechanical engineering BS degree (which I've finished 84/120 credits), I would have to retake 28 credits. Apparently, they have a requirement that you finish the last 64 credits of the degree in their school. Which is odd, because I only took 18 credits at my last university, the other 69 credits transferred in from my first degree. [Dunno]
Okay fine, twist my arm, I'll freaking apply to graduate school! [Tooth] Now, to wait for the application status to come back so I can find out how many undergraduate level courses I have to take to get up to speed. Sigh.

This week, I'm the fall guy for an overdue, fucked up project that is 1000% the client's fault. We could have had it done 9 months ago if they hadn't meddled and drug their ass.

Not so much.
Haven't been sleeping well at all. Wife is 9mo preggers, bout to pop any day (but technically not for 15 more days) and she gets up 8 times or more per night. Also, living at the in-laws because we sold our house before moving out east, and its too freaking warm in here all the time. On top of that, our dog gets us up promptly at 4am and keeps us up until 6am.
Geez! That sounds rough. My advice is sleep as much as possible. When the little one comes sleep will be challenging. :)

not quite... when I pulled out my lighter the guy asked for a light. not weird, right? then he asked Mrs. HB if he could borrow me for a few hours of fun. I realized at this point that the guy was probably drunk and mentally handicapped, and I really didn't want to be the guy who got arrested for punching a drunk, retarded, homeless dude... turns out he was "arrested" about an hour later (2am) for standing outside our hotel and yelling "help, I'm on fire!" cops knew him by name.
anyway, he tried to grope me (and my brother's wife, strangely enough) but he was so drunk, he tripped over himself and fell into a light pole. I don't think he even touched my brother's wife.

There's few reasons a partner ask for a divorce. Better she do this when you're out of the house, than walking in on it. Or other heart breakin scenario. Grab that bicycle and pedal your ass out for fun. You can drown sorrow in a bottle or look forward. It ain't easy being green.

Haha, it certainly wasn't as popular back then either. Last time around it was an email sent to everyone. Some military guy saying he did it EVERY morning on his front lawn at 5:00am. The reason was that it shocked your whole body, which boosted your immune system. So the military guy in the email hasn't been to the doctor for 10 years, blah blah blah. Some deer came to visit me. They were also gorgeous. I realize the picture is blurry, I was trying to get the shot before she bolted (she did) and while I was breathing hard. On my way back, that same deer was guarding the rest by standing close to the trail again.

Thank you for being the cool RO that you are, brother. Had a great time again. Next month I'll be there early to help set up and stuff, and hang to help put away as well. I certainly messed up some shots, but I also made some pretty damn good ones. Fun time for sure, and thank you.

Funny you say that, because tonight I just decided to run up and down the street in front of the hotel. No lights, no sidewalk, people definitely weren't expecting me to be there. People would turn on their brights, or slow way down to look at me. Keep in mind I had MY light, which I used to make myself visible when I needed to. I'm surprised the cops didn't show up.

QD mounts have had issues locking up as tightliy as needed.
the 7.62 AAC can that I used had horrible repeatability of POI shift. essentially, it turned a 1MOA gun into a 4MOA gun, just because we didn't know where the POI was going to shift to.

Haven't seen that with my 762-SDN6.
Not shooting competition, but I will have to monitor it. I probably care less for the 556-SD, it's a lower cost, less finished can than the others anyway.
If I was shooting competitively, I would not use QD mounts anyway.

Certain QD moutns do pretty well. ThunderBeast is one that I know does very well.
I use thread-on cans and then use a birdcage as a thread protector. I have tested the POI repeatability when I take the can off and then put it back on. If a can is installed and then removed, it's important to know where that POI has shifted to. It's something that I just got into testing in teh last month. Believe it or not, my little Gemtech suppressor isn't that bad about POI shift. It gets a little taxing to take it on and off (because it's not a 'QD' per say), but other than that I don't mind. It's nice to know where the bullet is going to go.

Interesting insurance fraud cases for your consideration.
Bonnie Mccaslin: http://www.forbes.com/global/1999/0920/0218053a.html
Bonnie McCaslin had a premonition that her ex-husband was going to die in an earthquake, mud slide or some other apocalyptic disaster. So convinced was she that she and her 32-year-old son bought 78 life insurance policies from dozens of companies for a total face amount of more than $11 million. Her son was named as the beneficiary. Her ex-husband, Timothy McCaslin, knew nothing about these policies, nor did he know that he had died in a Mexican earthquake in 1995.
Or so Bonnie told the insurance companies when she filed the death claims. She tried to get a death certificate from the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, but the authorities there smelled a rat. Timothy turned up very much alive, in California–working as a life insurance agent.
Bonnie, now 62, is serving a two-year prison term for mail fraud. (Her son was not prosecuted.) Why did she do it? “I tried to collect in advance for something that was going to happen anyway,” she breezily tells FORBES GLOBAL. She still blames her ex-husband for not cooperating. “He’s such a jerk,” she says. “If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be in here.”
Dina Abdelhaq: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1999-09-08/news/9909110007_1_sids-death-dina-abdelhaq-newborn-daughter
A federal judge in Chicago sentenced a suburban woman today to 21 years in prison for insurance fraud in the death of her newborn daughter.
Dina Abdelhaq, of Hickory Hills, was found guilty by a jury in February of attempting to collect on a $200,000 life insurance policy by suffocating her daughter, Tara, in 1995. The policy has been in effect for two weeks when seven-week old Tara died in the middle of the night.
Sholam Weiss: http://www.masslive.com/news/index.ssf/2011/04/judge_reduces_sholam_weiss_845.html
WASHINGTON (AP) — It's easy to see why insurance swindler Sholam Weiss was not entirely satisfied with a judge's decision to cut 10 years from his prison term.
Even after the reduction, Weiss still had 835 years to serve for his role in the collapse of a life insurance company in the 1990s that cost thousands of people their life savings.
Weiss is asking the Supreme Court for much more: his release from prison and return to Austria, where he was arrested nearly a year after he fled the United States during his criminal trial in Orlando, Fla. The justices could decide as early as Monday whether to hear his appeal.
Sorry for the insurance kick. Almost done.

It is still an acceptable form of research to simply ask me. Folks are OK with the response, "I asked TheBelly." When asked how they got the answer.
My new elephant learned that on day two. He asked someone a question and their response was, "Belly told me." The elephant came and asked me, and I told him all the background info he wanted. Leg raises while holding a dumbbell between your feet
X2
I got up to the 25lb dumbbell and that's all the further I went, just increased reps from there. Tried the 30lb, but the size of the dumbbell made it awkward. You have to keep legs straight, and no sloppy swinging or it's cheating.
You also can't really beat the different variations of the plank, I'll take planks over sit-ups any day.
Hanging leg raises and "windshield washers" are brutal.
I like this video. Every time I come across one of these videos, I always have a hard time deciding what I want to do, and then remembering what I decided, while I'm actually working out. I spend more time thinking about what I want to do, than actually doing anything.

I guess I should be asking, how many different ab work-outs is too many. I figure as long as I hit each muscle group at least once, or even twice (two different styles per group), that ought to be good.
The ab part of my core day goes like this (everything is 5x5)...
-Weighted "L" pullups (holding dumbbell between feet)
-Weighted decline situps (holding dumbbell below chin, one hand on either side... NOT with a plate)
-Weighted decline situps - side (start flat, rotating at waist so shoulders are rotated to face side as far as possible)
-Weighted leg raises (holding dumbbell between feet)
-Weighted leg raises - side (keep back flat on pad, rotating at hips to bring dumbbell past your shoulder the top)
-The machine thing that holds your ankles and has the round pad that your butt goes on and your torso hangs off the end... stack different size weighs on the handle on one side in a random order, then while keeping your torso perfectly horizontal and rotating at the waist move all plates onto the other handle and then back. Move them of and onto the handles using your arms, not by bending, your torso stays horizontal and only rotates the weight over you.
-The machine thing that braces your ankles and is used for back extensions, with the pad at your hip... turn sideways on it with your UPPER LEG BACK and do oblique crunches while holding a dumbbell in your lower hand.
-Ab Crunch Machine, both sides and center
-Cable Crunches w/ straight bar (held at base of neck)
-Cable Crunches w/ rope
-Side Cable Crunches (stand to right of cable, hold cable at chest routed over your left shoulder, and bend at waist bringing your left shoulder to right knee... repeat set on the other side)
That's generally the order I go in, but feel free to change it up. I vary the order every now and then but I always do free weights before cable resistance, and I always do both. Weight should be extremely heavy, as in I-physically-can't-move-more-weight-than-this-and-I-know-because-I've-tried heavy (this doesn't mean 500lbs, and it doesn't mean hurt yourself doing more than you should... if all you can do on weighted decline situps is the 20lb dumbbell, then that's you should be doing. However, most of the time you can do 5-10lbs more than you think your max is, and your abs are stronger you think, so try it. Know your limits, know when you haven't reached them, and always push them as far as possible). You want to be struggling with your last couple reps... if you can do another set at that weight, you went too light and cheated yourself out of progress... you should have to drop 5-10lbs each set to be able to compete it.
The most weight possible part I agree with. After only a week or two, it's like you can't even do enough unweighted crunches to start straining. Thanks for all the input tonight everyone.

I also just found out today that windows now offers you the ability to create a system image which will backup your SOFTWARE too. [facepalm]
Guess what I just did? Created a system image...

FUCK [facepalm]3-4 weeks since you moved to hipster liberalville, already the changes come. What next Clinton - Clinton 2016 bumper sticker. Or that hot rod up for sale. Will trade for Prius, if it's a clean 1 owner.
LUKE, USE THE FORCE LUKE........................
Get to go home tomorrow! Woot. Went to work out in the gym tonight and could hardly finish anything. I didn't feel tired, just plain ole out of energy. Did some side plank hip raises and the scorpion thing. Hats to tell if I'm doing the scorpion correctly though. I'll have to look into it more.

Perhaps copy the partition(s) to a backup HD before you do that again.

Aaaaannnnddddd VirtualBox refuses to see my brand freakin new PC as VT capable even though it passes the Intel tests.
To top it off, a crucial IBM program I use for work refuses to run since it was updated on my laptop and one of my client VPN's is failing thanks to IE.
Fuck me.
Final nail in the coffin, IT wants to send me a new laptop as part of some update program I got nominated for. An i7 with 32GB ram and two 1TB drives better freakin run my VM without being slow as my dead grandma. Guess I will be migrating next week (easy actually with the VM.)

49K, That's it ? Being in dougco , all them texting, cell phone chatting, house mouse's, pulling in front of you I could see it. Then again that about covers most of CO.

Yea yea yea, there's always 1 person who knows more than you do. But, I never claimed to be a computer guy, I'm a hardware guy. [Tooth] At least I knew enough to backup my important files. That counts for something, right? [Dunno]

Sounds pretty dang close to my new workstation, but I have a feeling yours might be an IBM...
I have tried bogging down my machine with Solidworks, simulations and 500+ part models in real graphics mode and so far, it keeps on churning!

IT is backpedaling on supplying a docking station now. WTF? This laptop has only MINI DisplayPort for external digital. My external monitor is only HDMI and I already bought a DisplayPort-HDMI active converter for my current laptop out of pocket.

I might have a mini displayport to HDMI you can have... Let me check.

Awwww crap. The cable I was thinking of is mini DP to DVI. Sorry bro
I might have a mini displayport to HDMI you can have... Let me check.
Thanks, but that's not the point. I can get a mini adapter to regular cheap enough to add to my current DisplayPort-HDMI active cable. I don't want to have to use the adapter, I want to leave the LCD plugged into the docking station. The dock station has HDMI, etc. and is really what I need - to replace the GD port replicator I have now.
I'll just expense it under the wire in a few weeks. Sometimes their stupid policies just create graft and inefficiencies. Typical red tape BS. They would rather you F up a port on the laptop from repeated insertions of multiple devices (LAN, USB Keyboard, DisplayPort, etc.) or use a wonkey adapter than use a docking station. Stupid execs.

Hip hop abs DVD? Where'd the puke smiley go...
Sorry, your excuse is invalid. I worked almost 80hrs last week and still found time to work out after taking care of a pregnant wife and 13yo kid (and 2 dogs). Granted I didn't get to spend as much time on my workouts as I usually like to and I still had to sacrifice a little sleep, but then everything life is a trade off.
Remember, any 300lb fatass can shoot a gun... but you need to be at least somewhat in shape to fight with one.
You probably think I'm a dick now...
Haha. I'm being facetious about the dvd. My job keeps me plenty busy and in fair shape. Bike riding helps too. Also congrats on #2! I'm no fatass yet but I'd like to be a bit stronger. Don't wanna rip my finger open though.
You probably think I'm a dick now...

Lol good. It's actually #1 for us, the 13yo is my brother in law who we took custody of. Either way though, thanks!
You want to get stronger, 5 sets of 5 reps of super heavy weight will get you there the fastest, as far as what to in the gym. However, you have to eat a lot and sleep 7+hrs a night to truly maximize your potential... you don't get big unless you eat big and sleep big.
