I sold my 6.8 to help fund the lovely new LaRue that graces my gun safe. I took the LaRue out and did a little bit of wringing-out with it today. It's pretty dang accurate. Hitting at 750 is not very difficult, once I got the wind figured out........damn wind!

My 6.8 what just a slightly harder push to it. It had an AAC brake on it, so it was definitely louder. Mine also had a semi-auto bolt carrier. I don't know how much an FA carrier would have helped.

Thanks! The range I go to here has steel at EXACTLY 250, 500, 750, and 1k yards. The weird part was zeroing it and then trying the ballistics curve using muzzle velocity.

I have this scope: http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-elite-tactical-6-24x50mm-rifle-scope.html the g2dmr reticle makes things pretty easy to hold over. The lines aren't too thick at max power to accurately see a 2/3rds piece of steel, so no big worries there.

Once you added the "incident" part, the name flipped a switch in my puny brain. I have Cumcast, but not Axis I don't think. The Jam band idea is not really my thing, but I'm open to all kinds of music interpretation. I respect the dead as well, and again, not really a huge fan of their stuff.

The OTAL Im referring to is a Class 1 IR. The DBAL comes in around 7-800 or 1100 depending on what options you choose. For the money, the OTAL offers me a compact and lightweight IR aiming solution and the money saved allows for a KM2 head for IR illumination.

Thai BBQ Sauce

6 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tablespoons finely minced Ginger
8 Serrano Peppers or other small Chiles, minced, including seeds
4 small Green Onions, green and white parts, minced
1/4 cup Cilantro sprigs
1 tablespoon grated or minced Lime Zest

Lake Michigan is so wide that you can't see the other side because of the curvature of the earth. During storms the waves can easily get 20-30 ft high. The beaches are beautiful sandy beaches and the water at the shore can easily be 60-70 degrees. Great for swimming, awesome for laying in the sun all day. Perfect for boating, water skiing, wake boarding, jet skiing, and you can build really awesome sand castles.

i lived on the California coast for a while, but I still like the Great Lakes for a relaxing vacation.
