So, I work at 17th & Curtis, downtown Denver. I'm working late tonight, and just stepped out to Starbucks for some mud.

Hoowee, godDAMN, there must have been half the Denver Police Department swarming around 16th & Curtis! Turns out there was some kind of "anarchist's parade", or some such shit, hiking down the 16th St. Mall protesting "Police Terrorism", or the high price of weed, who knows. Buncha goddamn kids dressed like fools and acting it too.

Folks in Starbucks said that last year the dumbasses did a bunch of vandalizing and other stupid shit, so the po-po was out in force to keep 'em in line. And I mean there were hundreds of cops out there! Riot gear, big guns, the works.

Now, there's been some heavy-handed incidents involving the Denver Police that I don't agree with and I think were uncalled for, but forming up into a shouting, hollering herd and deliberately antagonizing them? Jeeeezus, what a bunch of douchebags. And what a waste of taxpayer money and police resources. Stupid fucking kids.

I was @ Santafe and 13th.. got few minutes of video of dumbasses screaming all kind of profanity at the cops. Told the cops outside the restaurant, come by afterward, I ll open a tab for all of you.

Now I know what ya meant by "stupid protesters" earlier. I thought maybe the WBC douches had started up with something.

My wife used to live in Capitol Hill when I met her. What a Montana cowgirl was doing there I'll never know.

No offense to the Denver folks, but I'm glad I've had no reason to be downtown there in several years.

There are many good reasons for living in a smaller town. That my friends, is one of them. Unfortunately to say that they can't say whatever in the hell they want would be an injustice. However... if they were blocking the streets in their nice protest, isn't that impeding traffic or something? Gota be some kind of law against it that they could enforce right? [Coffee]Fredom of speech doesn't give you the right to break law, no matter how small.
