I saw a few videos on youtube that james yeager used these in, was thinking of buying a pair of them.....
Has anyone used these at all before, and if so, did you like them?
more importantly, has anyone ever used these in a competiton setting, like uspsa or ipsc?
if one of you guys could help me out, that would be great.
Thanks,
Kenny

They are quick for the eye to pick up. and tough. But I personally think they are too thick for competition use. At any range, they obscure too much of the target and thus are not precise enough in my opinion. I prefer Heinie Straight 8s.

I highly recommend the Ameriglo Orange front w/tritium insert, and black bladed rear sight setup. Now I don't compete (yet), but target acquisition in bright light, and in low light, is second to none with these.

Go see Bowers and they can get you all fixed up. If you buy from them, they install for free (please see their terms for which applications qualify).

I think something is wrong with your gun mister, why in the hell is the front sight post so darn small?!?!?! [LOL]

That is definitely the smallest front sight I have seen or the rear sights are abnormally far apart.. I think that would be harder to shoot correctly at a longer distance. I have seen front sights too big, which are bad for accuracy but smaller might help as long as you have 20/20.

I was just joking, the only reason its too small is because the rear sight is so close to the camera.
sorry for the bad use of sarcasm[Slap]

LOL, I got the joke, and was going respond with a "the sight is normal size, it's the enormous Glock 20 slide that makes it look so small" lol.

I have them on my XD that I use for CC. While they are great for quick target acquisition, they are not the best for target shooting, as they they do tend to fill up the target.
