Have had one of these in one of my ARs for some time and really can't say enough nice about it. Drop in install, excellent take up and break. Mine was so sweet out of box I never had to adjust it....

I put a little over 1,000 rounds down range. Took it out a couple weeks ago and experienced repeated doubling after about 50 rounds.

I didn't think it could be wear, so I took it home, disassembled and gave it a good cleaning and lube. I couldn't repeat this failure manually at my workbench.

Took it out again this past weekend and it did doubled the first 2 rounds out of the first mag.

Got up on CMMG's website and they no longer manufacture this trigger. The 2nd generation non-adjustable is offered and there is a little note stating if you have one of the first gens (adjustable), they are replacing them for free...

Although doubling is quite fun, it is illegal, dangerous and can cause damage and injury as the possibility of an out of battery discharge is high....

Sear engagement is not deep enough and the recoil is causing the doubling. Give it a bit more sear engagement and it should be GTG. If not touch base with me.

After playing with it again today (before giving up on it and packing it up). I discovered it would initially release the hammer as it was supposed to, but when the hammer was brought back with the trigger still engaged it would reset, but as you slowly released the trigger it would release the hammer instead of engaging the sear.

Once the trigger was completely released it would engage the sear correctly upon cocking the hammer.

This doesn't appear to be a recoil issue and adjusting doesn't correct it. I'm guessing the disconnecter is to blame? This would also explain why there wasn't a mag dump or more than 2 rounds going down range with each trigger pull.
