Friend here in hastings created a Inventory program for firearms its free he is a local LEO here and posted this program up for fellow gun owners so they can have a means to keep track and have a means to print copies for insurance and stolen property reports! reason why i am posting is cause there was a topic on this matter i can't find it currently, but here you go!

all you have to due is down load it from this site i currently have it on my computer its kind of nice to see it all laid out!

program is located on the bottom of the page click it and fallow the download instructions!

enjoy! might not be for you if so just delete it like any other program on your computer.

good question, i think its only PC its an access program that is self contained ill see if i can double check!

Just so you know, it won't install under Wine.

Also it seems to require that you already have Microsoft Access 2007 installed to run on Windows.

Damn Mac users always want to be included with the rest of us!

Only because we are smarter and better than PC users :). So smart, in fact, that we run Windows virtually (and much more stable) on our fine Mac's!

should be self contained i dont have access on my computer it should come with the drivers to run it! worst come to worst i have a CD copy at my house people can barrow!

Not a bad program. It does require some getting used to and saving a number of different files before you can move through them.

It is picky on dates though and I would like to see an entry for firearm value instead of purchase price. I have a number of firearms that have increased in value and would like to document that as well.

Overall, I can't look a gift horse in the mouth and complain!!

i would agree on some of the things you said, having what you paid than present value would be nice.
