Donald Trump announced today that he was not going to run for president in 2012.

I think some of the unflattering results of various people digging into his background are starting to come to light. He figured he'd quit while still ahead.

I still think it was a publicity stunt and that he never planned on running.

Yup, a stunt like KevDen said.

I suppose his reality show will get a nice boost in ratings and subsequent ad revenue.

He's doing his job, creating capital.

No.

Trump wouldn't be the only other choice, there will always be other candidates no matter how obscure.
