I have a target AR that I use a First Samco grip on. It has finger grooves that fit my hand well. This rifle really would not be practical for carrying to the woods for hunting. It weighs like 15 pounds. It is a bench gun suitable for P Dogs and Yote dogs.

My walkin around and deer AR has an A-2 grip.

I was thinkin of changing to a no groove with stippleing. Just cause they kinda look cool.

Does anyone have a preference to Finger grooves in a walking around AR or For cold weather and gloves or just an opinion on grooves or no grooves.?

Magpul MOE on both my AR's. You can't go wrong with the Magpul grips. If the MOE doesn't fit, then go with the MIAD. I had an ergo-grip for a long time on my first AR...it wasn't bad, but the Magpul just felt better.
